We Need You

In Japan, we have been facing a significant population decline since the early 90s, with approximately 600,000 deaths annually and a dwindling number of newborns. Over the next 50 years, the Japanese population is projected to decline even further, potentially reaching less than 100 million people, which is a 25% decrease from our current population of 125 million.

Given the profound history of Tachibana Kamon, our mission goes beyond creating beautiful jewellery pieces. We aim to inspire others to delve into and embrace Japanese culture and its rich history. By crafting collectible Japanese jewellery, we hope to share the essence of Japan's heritage with the world. Each piece we create is an invitation to learn, appreciate, and celebrate the intricate symbolism, artistry, and traditions that have shaped Japanese society. Through our jewellery, we aspire to ignite curiosity, spark conversations, and foster a deep appreciation for the cultural treasures that Japan has to offer. Join us in our journey to preserve and promote Japanese culture, one captivating jewellery piece at a time. Let our creations be a bridge between generations and a testament to the beauty and significance of Japanese heritage.

Together, we can honor the past, cherish the present, and inspire the future.

History

Dating back over 1300 years, the Tachibana clan is associated with honour and loyalty. The powerful clan was filled with higher government members and connected to the Imperial family. its family crest, Kamon in Japanese, was an award for Samurai recognising their devotion and distinction. Depicting an evergreen tree, it represents the clan's immortal essence. The Tachibana Kamon is one of the most ancient family crests in Japan.

Takumi Furukawa

As a descendant of the Tachibana clan, Tachibana.co is my way of inspiring others to learn and embrace Japanese heritage. The brand I have created is personal and represents my love and loyalty to the Kamon and the values it characterises. Incorporating rich Japanese culture into beautiful, wearable pieces adds another chapter to its history and is a path for more people to understand and explore its spirit.
