Meaning Behind Turtle and Crane Amulet
This piece is a collaboration with George Tattoo. We originally set out to create a crane pendant, but we decided to add a turtle as well. In Japanese symbolism, the crane and the turtle together represent longevity, good fortune, and enduring prosperity. The crane symbolises long life and grace, while the turtle represents eternal life and protection. This dual-sided piece brings both of these powerful symbols together in one design.

Longevity & Enduring Life: The crane and turtle together symbolise a long and harmonious life in Japanese tradition, representing endurance, wisdom, and the blessing of many years ahead.
Good Fortune & Prosperity: Both creatures are ancient symbols of luck and prosperity, believed to attract good fortune, success, and positive energy to the wearer.
Balance & Harmony: The union of sky (crane) and earth/water (turtle) represents balance in life, reminding the wearer to move through life with patience, resilience, and grace.
